Founding bands and inviting other bands

The first 25 bands on Backstage are founding bands: half off any plan, for life. Know another band? Send them your link. They get founding pricing while spots last, and you get free months.

How to

  1. Apply to be a founding band from the Backstage website (For bands). There are 25 spots, open until December 31, 2026.
  2. Accepted bands get a sign-up link. Start your band from it and your founding number is yours for good.
  3. Your badge, Founding band # and your number, shows on your home screen and in Settings → Plan and billing, with your locked-in prices.
  4. To invite another band, open Plan and billing → Invite another band, then Copy link or Share.
  5. You get a free month for each band that joins from your link and finishes setup, up to 6. They're used when billing starts.

Tips

Tip

Your client app shows a small Founding band on Backstage line at the bottom. Turn it off in Settings → Client portal (Founding band badge).

Tip

While Backstage is in beta, everything is free. The founding price starts when billing does.
